"I grew up fishing Lake Erie and the Niagara River.
I have always had a passion for walleye fishing and I spend most of my personal time fishing for them. I can attribute
the base of my fishing knowledge to my father and my uncle who I have spent many hours on the waters with. Since my
days of learning how to set a hook and land a walleye I have spent numerous hours researching many different techniques and
practicing them. Many of the techniques have been modified to maximize success in the area waters. I can thank
my cousin Captain Ted Kessler for helping me with deep water trolling concepts and encouraging me to get started in the
charter business.
I am proud to say
that I was the winner of the 18th Annual Southtowns Walleye Tournament. The tournament had over 1,800 participants. My winning walleye topped
the scales at 11.77 lbs. I had a combined catch of over 35 lbs. that day. Not a bad day for two hours of fishing
alone!"
"Thanks for taking me fishing Dad!"
